1:18 scale model presented in Monte Carlo Rally livery

In the 1990s, there were many manufacturers competing for victory on the special stages of the World Rally Championship. Among the favourites were Lancia and Toyota, who dominated the end of the Group A era. In 1997, the introduction of the WRC (World Rally Cars) regulations changed the situation: Subaru and Mitsubishi had an impressive duel on every rally. But Toyota, with its Corolla WRC, still aims to shine! In 1998, Carlos Sainz won the Monte Carlo for the third time in his career. A few months later, the Spaniard saw a third World Rally Championship title with Toyota slip through his fingers 300m from the finish of the last stage of the Wales Rally GB. Indeed, the engine of his Corolla gave up the ghost so close to the finish. It was a dramatic scene that made the superb Corolla WRC in Castrol livery and its driver "El Matador" even more legendary.
